These are so beautiful, there are many that I love in a very simple organic way. I'm Jamie Beck, Nicole Rule's friend. We met in Savannah briefly outside Gallery Espresso. I jotted down your project name because I thought it was such a great idea! If some people you sent cameras to don't participate, I'd love to or if you want someone's perspective that is not a photographer I know a lot of great people that would really enjoy partaking in your project. I look forward to seeing more as you post them- and it was nice to meet you!
A disposable two hours is a collaborative project begun in January 2010 and initiated by artist Mary Novack.

Part I. Savannah, GA.
I gave out 5 disposable cameras along with a letter explaining my intentions to 5 local Savannahians. The letter asked the recipient to simply go for a walk, to leave from one point and walk for an hour, and at the end of the hour turn around and walk back. They were to be open to any distractions during the walk, and were to use the camera to take at least one photo.
Once the cameras were returned to me, I developed the film and posted it here, as well as displayed it publicly at an open studio in Savannah, Georgia. Photos of the installation can be viewed here.
The first four posts are the work of the Savannahians.
Part II. Elsewhere.
I sent out disposable cameras with the same letters to people outside of Savannah. Their photos are posted here once I receive the camera and develop the film. The first seven participants from outside of Savannah also had their photos displayed in Alexander Hall in Savannah, Georgia. Photos of the installation can be viewed here.

My desire is to give people an opportunity to partake in an activity that is outside of their normal schedule. I am interested in their experience, and what will happen when they are asked to take a two hour block of time to think of nothing else but looking and walking.
